Meeting beetabonk and shooting his camera

Last Saturday, we were invited to our new flickr friends, Oliver and his wife Keiko, for BBQ at their place. We arrived there at around 4pm and went home past 12 midnight. It was a nice sunny afternoon of BBQ, beer and food. Oliver even lent me his Hasselblaad 500 C/M and a roll of film to shoot! It’s embarrassing because he even had to have it processed for me.

Anyway, here are some of the portraits me and Peter took. It’s such a heavy camera, the mirrors are confusing, and it takes forever to focus. But it makes you think more, compose your images properly and take time in taking an image because it’s film and you have to focus properly.

So here are some of the photos from the roll that Oliver sent me.

I’m sorry I forgot her name. She’s from Yunnan. My favorite among the set.
